One Response to "Government signs the early work of asphalt RJ-151 Chapel Mauá"

Paving the road to Maua is taking so frivolous and irresponsible. Your license by INEA (state agency / RJ the environment) is taking place without the study of socio-economic impact has been done! The whole process of environmental analysis is vitiated by pressure and political maneuvering anti-environment and was hit. How can we speak, then, development in the region without the "soul" of an EIR for a project like this (the study of socio-economic) has been developed?
In addition, the plan delivered by the Dep of Roadway's says it will move on the slopes of RJ 163 to ensure a minimum of six feet wide (plus 0.80 for drainage. In other words, will cause instability on a road that is already stabilized (after many decades of its opening). They go on the slopes, rocky move in and destroy the rich vegetation of its banks)
In this context the "development" can be expected for the region - and leaving aside the possible social degradation caused by the pavement, since the study was not done - is in danger of repeating tragedies like those that recently took place in Angra and previously in other regions of the Serra do Mar (area of high rainfall and instability on the slopes).
The main feature of a road-park is to respect the pre-existing bed. Be careful when working with a road as safe as is currently the Maua-Chapel!
The same political actors that "flexibilixaram" in the name of "desenvolvimeto tourism 'law of use and land cover in the region of Angra and Ilha Grande (APA TTamoios) this past June - Sergio Cabral and Carlos Minc - will be primarily responsible the likely consequences of the "flexibility" of the licensing process of RJ 163.
