Meeting in Mauá on-road park
The Mayor Luis Carlos Ypê participated in the night of last Tuesday (14) in Visconde de Mauá, the public hearing on the road-park-Mauá Chapel, with the secretary of state urban development, Vicente Loureiro, and other authorities, addition to a general public community. The road-park is the first work of the Tourism Development Program (Prodetur) to be developed in the state, and the first of its kind to be built in the country and won such a name because the quality of traffic to protecting the environment, enhancing the landscape of the mountain region. Predicting the state government is that the highway is ready by the end of next year.
At the meeting in Mauá, Vicente Loureiro said the road-park will encourage the very residents who win a road with quality and safety, and also the tourists who will have access to the villages of Mauá (Resende), Maringá and Maromba ( Itatiaia), and that the state seeks to make a work thinking in environmental preservation. The project provides subways and air to prevent the trampling of animals, called "bichodutos," and a number of viewpoints that will enable a better appreciation of the valley, with its beautiful mountains.
- This is an important region for tourism Fluminense, because it meets the countryside, an area of preservation and beautiful waterfalls. We want to encourage the tourist here, creating jobs and generating income for the population. But, I believe, the main beneficiaries are the residents who will have a road that will guarantee the right to come and go safely - Loureiro stressed at the meeting.
For the mayor Luiz Carlos Ypê, the road-park will be an inducer of new investments and bring more peace to the local community, which will be less isolated from the city center, with access to quality. The mayor has made several meetings with those communities, along with various municipal secretaries, to learn what they think the people who most need and the prefecture, and has attended the various claims.
